Mariah Carey threatened by Simon Cowell's ex Sinitta

Cheryl Cole isn't the only woman unhappy with the U.S. version of The X Factor - Mariah Carey's connection to the show might have just gotten a target placed on her back. Mariah will reportedly assist Simon Cowell in choosing singers to go through to the live shows, a job held by Simon's ex Sinitta on the U.K. version of the show. However, just like Cheryl Cole (who was replaced by American singer Nicole Scherzinger), it doesn't look like she's going to make the transition to The X Factor in the U.S. But unlike Cheryl, Sinitta isn't just going to take the abuse and skulk back to the U.K. with her tail between her legs.
Sinitta has said of Mariah Carey taking her job as a helper, "Well, let's just say feathers will fly if Mariah takes my spot. Although she is a mega diva vocally, you can expect another 'X Factor' USA drama. I won't just roll over and take it. I hope she can run in high heels." It sounds like Mariah Carey might end up with a stiletto where the sun don't shine if she steals Sinitta's job!
So how can Simon Cowell diffuse another potentially disastrous situation? Well, Sinitta and Mariah Carey could both be helpers - they might not enjoy the situation, but it certainly could make for good TV since Sinitta seems to have an issue with Mariah and would likely disagree with her quite frequently. Add Paula Abdul as a judge, the numerous singing competitions it's competing with, and all the past drama that The X Factor U.S. has already seen, and it's looking like it could turn out to be one of the most deliciously disastrous shows on TV.
