Mariah Carey Says Twin Babies 'Only Like Classic R&B'

Mariah Carey has clearly schooled her young children well because she says they only listen to classic R&B as opposed to the dance/pop sound that is currently infiltrating the charts.
The Grammy award-winning diva is currently recording her next studio album and this week held a press conference to promote her newly-premiered single, 'Triumphant,' which features Maybach's Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Mariah discussed the lack of true R&B artists in the mainstream, and revealed that while she was pregnant with "dem babies" Moroccan and Monroe, they only responded to old school tracks.
"It would be incredible if we could bring that days when R&B records didn’t have to crossover and just be hits on their own.I remember back when those records were the soundtracks of people’s lives," Mariah told ThatGrapeJuice at the conference.
"It just makes me sad that there are so many great R&B artists out there that don’t get the chances that they should."
Speaking about her one-year-old twins, Mariah added: "I remember when I was pregnant with dem babies they only responded to the songs with the classic R&B feel."
Mariah also revealed that she is open to collaborating with Drake and Frank Ocean on her forthcoming LP which is being produced by longtime friend Jermaine Dupri.
