Director Joseph Kahn, who is filming the music video for Carey's new track, revealed that he finished shooting the visual but wouldn't confirm whether the song features the R&B singer.
He tweeted: "Wrapped new video. Yup, she's the bomb. Love her.
"I can't confirm the artist until they do. But what a lovely treat for a video director."
LA band Chotto Ghetto member Fletcher Alliston also seemingly tweeted from the set, revealing: "Working on a Mariah Carey + Miguel video for the man Joseph Kahn, wouldn't trade this for 1,000 Coachellas." He has since removed the comments.
Miguel later suggested his involvement in the song and video, posting: "Lets do that again sometime. MOMENTS. So appreciative."
Carey is expected to release her as-yet-untitled 14th album this summer. She recently insisted that she wants to release the record "ASAP", adding: "I've been working with a bunch of people in secret locations."
