Mariah Carey, Kanye West talk Michael Jackson on Spike Lee's ‘Bad’ documentary
Mariah Carey, Martin Scorsese and Kanye West are dishing on the King of Pop for the upcoming Spike Lee project celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album Bad. The latest in a tribute to the late entertainer, Spike Lee dished on his upcoming project on Tuesday. It is in the final post production phase and getting the interest of fans worldwide as everyone wants to know before the release in August.
The anniversary project includes a focus on the story behind the Bad album. Placing emphasis on the world tour and Michael Jackson’s videos to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the record. Getting a chance to explore the culture behind the success, Spike Lee has said to interview over forty people who know firsthand about the success. The release of the epic album was in August 1987 and his music swept the world.
Michael Jackson died from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009. One of the greatest entertainers, the fans still finds his music a work of art. Celebrating the Bad album is just another example of how the entertainer is dearly missed. The Spike Lee documentary has yet to have an official name, but by release time in August the title should be announced.
