Mariah Carey showers her twins with lavish gifts

Mariah Carey's twins are quickly developing a taste for the millionaire lifestyle. The singer hosted a lavish second birthday party for Moroccan and Monroe in Paris, where she showered them with lavish gifts, including a toy Ferrari.

The proud mother, 42, shared pictures from the April 30 celebration on the twins' own website, dembabies.com. Despite being a children's party, Mariah turned it into an over-the-top formal affair, dressing her son in black tie attired and her daughter in a fancy frock. Other gifts included a rocking horse, a doll house and a miniature white piano for Monroe. It was a nod to Mariah's own treasured white piano, which was first owned by her daughter's namesake, Marilyn Monroe.

Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon, 31, also renewed their wedding vows while in the romantic European city last month. The couple will soon mix business with pleasure after agreeing to work on an animated project together. The husband and wife duo are developing a fairytale that their children can enjoy.
He told MTV News about his wife: "Yeah we actually got some stuff in development that we're working on, some animated stuff that her and I are putting together. So you'll definitely see her in that space too. Oh yeah, it's just something that we both enjoy, and even more so than that, we're both kids at heart. So we love those types of stories and fantasy/fairytale type of stuff."

The executive producer of the upcoming Nickelodeon movie Rags revealed that his desire for work at the moment is geared towards how his relatives can benefit. He said: "I mean it's one of those things where a lot of the stuff I'm going to be doing in the near future is going to be really family-driven just because of the fact being a father and wanting to be able to provide content for my kids. So it works out really good. It makes you proud when you can have some work that your kids can go see."
