Mariah Carey says "Good Morning America"

Stepping out for a media appearance, Mariah Carey was spotted at ABC Studios in Times Square, New York City this morning (February 21). The "Always Be My Baby" songstress looked to be in good spirits, sporting a slender black getup as she prepped for her interview on "Good Morning America".
 In addition to talking about her Jenny Craig weight loss and upcoming album, Mariah also discussed her husband Nick Cannon's health problems. "Nick is doing well. It's a very complicate thing and I know he spoke on it himself. I feel a little bit awkward because I don't know exactly what he was revealing when he was talking to people. But the best thing, I think, was the choice that he made to leave the radio show and just focus on 'America's Got Talent' and 'Up All Night' which he just won an NAACP Award."
 "It was just something that hit us really hard at the top of the year... we wound up at the hospital. We didn't know how big of a deal it was."

Mariah Carey clears up her rivalry with Whitney Houston

Mariah Carey stopped by Good Morning America earlier today to discuss the extreme sadness she felt over Whitney Houston's untimely death. "I'm almost incapable of talking about this still," Mariah said on GMA. "It's very heavy emotionally."
 Mariah also revealed what it was like working with the legendary icon: "It was great and I don't think people could ever understand our relationship. There was always this supposed rivalry in the beginning and then we did the duet and we became friends."
 It's a sad time for Mariah, who collaborated with Whitney Houston on their beautiful ballad, "When You Believe". The mother of twins also told GMA that the service "was gorgeous, the way she went out and the way family dealt with it, I was very moved." We couldn't agree more.
