Mariah Carey has cute kids! For the holiday season, the entertainer took a moment to share some Christmas cheer by introducing Monroe and Moroccan Scott's first Christmas image to the fans. The photograph, looking like the perfect Christmas card, delivered to the five million plus fans that have access to the direct Twitter feed coming straight from the entertainer. "Ms. Monroe and Moroccan Scott's first Christmas," wrote Mariah Carey. The photo divides into two scenes, one with Monroe and the other with Moroccan. Both of the kids have adorable smiles that will melt the hearts of anyone who takes a glance. Sharing the spirit of the season, the kids take a moment to visit Santa Claus and share when they want for Christmas (or maybe just Mariah Carey told Santa). Mariah Carey hasn't been shy in sharing that the Christmas holiday season is her favorite time of year. Writing songs about the holiday and performing at Christmas events over the years, the entertainer probably wants her kids to enjoy the holiday too. (Gather) |

Mariah Carey flaunts toned body in new Jenny ad
"Watch my latest Jenny commercial, set to Make It Happen C&C remix. You can make it, go," she wrote. The camera pans her body and highlights her flat stomach and toned abs. The commercial is set to her 1991 hit "Make it Happen", while Jenny dieters reveal how much weight they've lost on the program, which mainly relies on portion control. Carey gave birth to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe after a difficult pregnancy. She suffered from post-pregnancy edema (severe water retention) and other complications including high blood pressure, preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. She said she started using the Jenny diet plan in July and has lost a total of 70 pounds. "I'm proud of how hard I worked to get my body back," she said on OWN's Rosie Show. "I had to do this for me." The New Ad Can Be Seen HERE (Celebrity Health & Fitness) |

"Mariah Carey: On The Record" Sneak Peak!
Check out some sneak previews from "Mariah Carey: On The Record," which will premiere on Fuse TV on December 25. There are also two web-only clips which will not air on the show.
Watch them HERE
Mariah Carey swaps open-toe heels for winter boots
She's known for being a bit of a diva. But an outfit change during a shopping trip is excessive even for her. So it can only be that Mariah Carey misjudged the freezing weather conditions in Aspen, Colorado. The singer was spotted doing some last minute shopping in Prada ahead of her first Christmas with eight-month-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
She had started the spree with a black winter jacket that flapped open to reveal a bare chest. She teamed this with black and red heels and oversize sunglasses. But later the 41-year-old had changed into more seasonable winter boots and a floppy hat.
The singer and husband Nick Cannon usually go to Aspen for Christmas, but didn't last year due to fears the high altitude may interfere with her pregnancy. She still went away because she has to be somewhere with snow at Christmas.
"It's got to be snowy," she said at the time. "I was considering staying in LA because we love it, but it's not the most seasonal of places. I need snow." Mariah is in great shape after shedding more than 70lbs since the birth of her children. The All I Want For Christmas singer showed off her curvy body in London earlier this month.

Mariah Carey can't keep her hands off of herself
Mariah Carey showed off her post-baby body in Aspen, Colorado on December 18th. The iconic singer wore all black, with a peacoat, knee high suede boots and a fedora hat. Mrs. Nick Cannon was doing some last minute Christmas shopping around the Aspen area and in seemed like she couldn't get enough of herself! She was snapped many times with her hands on her hips, most likely showing off how fit she is after having twins. She did the same thing during an X-Factor appearance recently. Didn't she show off her body enough in the severely awkward music video with Justin Bieber for "All I Want For Christmas Is You"? Every store, mall, restaurant and Christmas lights festival around America is blasting her continuous holiday hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You". This year we are getting hit harder with the song since Justin Bieber is featured on a new version of the song. Michael Buble even recorded his version the song for his Christmas album. Carey can't get enough of her song either. According to The Sun, Mariah commented, "I'm amazed and humbled by its popularity, even all these years later. And I think it's great that people have the song as a ringtone." She goes on to say, "Who'd have thought, all those years a go when I wrote it, that it would still be having an impact today?" Who knew we would have Justin Bieber around today! Fun fact, Bieber was born months before the release of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" in 1994. (Socialite Life) |
Rosy-cheeked Mariah Carey is a blushing beauty
Mariah Carey had quite the rosy glow about her today as she ventured out into the crisp air of Aspen. But on closer inspection, it appeared the singer's winter chic was all thanks to some clever make-up application, rather than feeling the chill.
The 41-year-old mother-of-two had apparently dabbed on the blusher to complement her seasonal style as she stepped out trussed up in a stylish cape teamed with black leggings and her suede brown boots. Mariah was spotted paying a visit to her mother's jewellery store - and despite it being dark the diva still found the need for shades.
The singer and husband Nick Cannon usually go to Aspen for Christmas but didn't last year due to fears the high altitude may interfere with her pregnancy. She still went away because she has to be somewhere with snow at Christmas. "It's got to be snowy," she said at the time. "I was considering staying in LA because we love it, but it's not the most seasonal of places. I need snow."
Earlier in the week Mariah ventured out in peep-toe heels - but quickly changed into something warmer midway through a shopping trip at Prada ahead of her first Christmas with eight-month-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. She had started the spree with a black winter jacket that flapped open to reveal a bare chest. Mariah teamed this with black and red heels and oversize sunglasses. But later the starlet changed into more seasonable winter boots and a floppy hat. Mariah is in great shape after shedding more than 70lbs since the birth of her children.
Meanwhile, the star's latest music video has just been released. When Christmas Comes, featuring John Legend, sees the pair singing at a grand piano, playing in the snow with Snoopy and spending time with her twins and husband Nick.
She recently told The Sun how she is "amazed and humbled" that her 1991 smash hit song All I Want for Christmas is still a holiday classic. Mariah recently re-released the track in a collaboration with Justin Bieber. She told the newspaper: "Who'd have thought, all those years ago when I wrote it, that it would still be having an impact today?"

Mariah was too expensive for "X Factor"
"Mariah hasn't performed live in about a year," says a source. "She wanted to make sure everything was perfect. She certainly doesn't sing to a track." And so a dream dies. But the possibility still exists of Carey singing on next year's premiere. Meantime, I am also told that Mariah's album with under-the-radar manager Randy Jackson is proceeding well. This could be her last album for Universal Music Group if she decides to join L.A. Reid at Epic/Sony. And Justin Bieber? Despite his enormous teen popularity, his Christmas album is being outsold by Michael Buble at a rate of 2 to 1. (Showbizz411) |

Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber set "X Factor" date
This year she re-recorded it with Justin Bieber, who sings back up in his new low register. He isn't Perry Como or even Steven Tyler, but the keeps up with Miss 8 Octaves and doesn't do too badly. Carey has said she will make a number of appearances on "X Factor" this season, largely because it's controlled by her record company, Universal Music. Also, her former and future label chief, L.A. Reid, a is a judge. This is complicated because her unofficial manager and music director Randy Jackson is a judge and mainstay of "American Idol". At any rate, set your DVRs to see the newly slimmed down Mariah sex up Justin on live TV. Let's hope there's no wardrobe malfunction. (Showbiz411) |
Mariah Carey on new album and balancing kids with music
"I was in so much pain. I was laying on this bed and we had a studio set up in the room," Carey said. "I want to get back in and get going. It's just right now, the music business goes on this hiatus and you have to get back in there in January." Translation: don't expect any more maternity leave from the singer in 2012. (Fuse) |

Michael Buble’s Mariah Carey Cover Tops AC Chart
Michael Buble’s cover of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” does what the original never did: it reaches No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart.
The remake bounds 10-1 in its third week on the AC tally, outperforming the No. 6 peak to which Carey’s version climbed the week of Jan. 7, 1995. Just past Thanksgiving, Buble’s version received airplay on 64 of the AC panel’s 76 stations in the chart’s tracking week, as the format makes its annual segue to a reliance on holiday music, a movement that intensified at the beginning of the 2000s.
Buble’s slower take than Carey’s jangly original “Christmas” marks his fourth AC No. 1, following “Home” (two weeks, 2005); “Everything” (three, 2007); and, “Haven’t Met You Yet” (three, 2010).
(Carey, meanwhile, is charting on AC with a new version of “Christmas.” Justin Bieber’s new duet of the song with Carey, from his seasonal set “Under the Mistletoe,” jumps 18-11 in its second week).

"When Christmas Comes" song review
Mariah's voice is strong as she harmonizes with Legend on the lines, "And me and you gon' have ourselves a holiday. And we don't need nobody else to celebrate. And we're gon' kiss our worries and our cares away. I can't wait. Because this Christmas time, get together. It's gonna be so nice, better than ever. And baby you're the one, special treasure." "When Christmas Comes" features horns and piano accenting a simple R&B groove. Before the final chorus, as the singers freelance on a few bars of "Jingle Bells", listeners are treated to notes from the upper reaches of Mariah's five-octave range, which she rarely shows off anymore. Some of the cutesy imagery falls flat, like, "I can't wait to unwrap your love." But otherwise, it's hard to find fault with the holiday duet from two of pop music's most powerful vocalists. The song is an improved version of the track that Carey performed solo on 2010's "Merry Christmas II You". (PopCrush) |
Mariah Carey Mania Rules Top 10
Adele's album 21 continues to set chart records, months after its release. Currently, the disc stands at #3 on the Billboard album chart, and it's never been out of the top five since it was released 39 weeks ago. That's a record: in the 55-year history of the chart, no other album has spent that many weeks in the top five since Michael Jackson's Bad, which did it for 38 straight weeks starting in September of 1987.
Elsewhere on the chart, Michael Buble's album Christmas holds at #2, and has a good shot at reaching #1 next week because of increasing sales week to week. Andrea Bocelli's Concerto: One Night in Central Park, featuring guest appearances by Tony Bennett and Celine Dion, debuts at number four, and Glee, the Music: The Christmas Album debuts at #6.
Billboard points out that there are now three, count 'em, three albums in the top 10 that feature a version of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You." It's on Michael Buble's album, the Glee album and on Justin Bieber's Under the Mistletoe, which is currently at #5. That means a very Merry Christmas for Mariah when it comes to royalty checks.

Mariah Carey Tells OK!: “I Want to Be Healthy for My Kids”
Her twins, Moroccan and Monroe, were born in April — and while Mariah Carey swears she never knew exactly how many pregnancy pounds she'd gained, she's now proudly talking about how she lost them! After following the Jenny Craig plan for a little over three months, Mariah, 41, their brand ambassador, is thrilled with the results and sat down with OK! to talk about it.
How do you feel being in such great shape again?
Well, I think I'm in shape, but I'm still on my quest to work out — I want to be healthy enough where I can cheat, and it doesn't matter!
What are your cheat foods?
Well, in New York, Sicilian pizza. In Italy, pizza. I like french fries, too. You know, stuff like that. I also love pasta.
Why did you choose Jenny?
Being in this partnership with Jenny and the American Heart Association is an honor for me because I know that their intentions are really good. So many of their top women executives have had babies and know what pregnant women go through.
Do you ever cook for yourself?
Sometimes, I'd have a salad that I'd make for myslef. I had Jenny products and then I'd mixed it up a little bit. I would make stuff for myself, like salads and egg white omelets and things like that.
Do you work out?
I really went back into working out hard, kind of a bit early, so I think I have a lesson for everybody: Being conscious of your health is so important. I work really hard on my arms to get them strong and in shape, but one arm is a little less strong than the other because I'm dealing with carpal tunnel nerve issue. But it'll be fine. I just have to take care of it. I have to go to my physical therapist.
What's your plan to maintain the weight loss long-term?
Well, I had my babies, and now I work out and stay on my diet. And when you want to have a good day with food in terms of what you want to eat, you have that day, and then the next day, you go back to the program and work out a bit harder. It's just about discipline. Really disciplining yourself.
How important is diet and fitness now that you are a mom?
I think it's really important. I have to stay healthy for my kids and I want to set a good example for them. Not that they know anything now — they're only [7] months! They're not walking in, asking, "Mommy, what size are your jeans?" Nobody's doing that, but I think it's important. Health is always important. We tend to neglect that, and go for the easy fast food and things like that. But with Jenny there's portion control. You can get soups with only 50 calories, and you drink that, and at least for the moment, you're satiated. You're not starving. You're feeling good — and there are some nutrients in you. You can eat six little meals a day, and that was my thing. I just ate more, but smaller portions. I'm 5-foot-9 and curvy — this is what I look like and I feel good about myself.

Mariah hologram performs simultaneously in five cities
Mariah Carey has performed a concert in five European cities at once, in a Saatchi & Saatchi campaign created for Deutsche Telekom. Last night, the international star performed the simultaneous holographic concerts for the latest instalment of the "Life is for sharing" campaign.
Carey appeared before audiences in Germany, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Poland at the same time, in the form of a hologram that interacted with real dancers and live audiences. After a ten minute performance the hologram then exploded into the sky, before she led a rendition of "Silent Night" and concluded with "All I want for Christmas is You".
The project was led by Jason Romeyko, European creative director for Deutsche Telekom and an international team at Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA, including members of the agency in Poland, the UK, Macedonia, Montenegro, Germany and Croatia. Romeyko said: "This is 'Life Is For Sharing' at its superlative - an amazing moment that people be part of in so many different ways, all across the world."

Mariah Carey: "It's always heels, darling!"
Mariah Carey has pledged to never give up her heels. The singer had lost a whopping 30 pounds since welcoming twins Moroccan and Monroe with husband Nick Cannon in April. She said that now she's got her bod back, she won't be dressing down in flats.
"It's always heels, darling!" she joked to Life & Style. "It's not as easy as it used to be, but I'm back in my heels. A flat always makes me feel frumpy." The shoe-mad warbler has been known to wear stilettos on the StairMaster and in snowstorms and even has a specially-made wardrobe to house her 1,000 pairs.
But despite her fascination with footwear, she wants to keep her outfits tasteful so as not to embarrass the children. "I don't want my kids to be like, 'What the hell, mum'," she said. "But you have to be able to be an artist, be yourself and represent who you are through fashion."
(Monsters and Critics)
Mariah and Nick outrageously expensive baby nurseries
Just like any proud parent would, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have been showing off photos of their babies to the world. Moroccan and Monroe - aka Roc and Roe, further aka "Our Little Crab Cakes", even further aka "Dem Babies" - look adorable in snaps posted by Carey to her Twitter page.
Of course, notwithstanding that Daddy often gets pulled by police, being the offspring of Carey and Cannon has its perks, and these twins are one privileged pair. Their perfectly-balance unisex nursery cost a whopping $100,000; while their cribs alone set the pair back $30,000.
"I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies," Carey tells Life & Style magazine. "Everything matches, but pieces are individualized to celebrate the twins as separate entities."
Of course, since jetsetting Roc and Roe split their time between New York and California, they have two spectacular nurseries. In addition to a shot of the babies' nursery, complete with a giant "Dem Babies" balloon display, Carey also posted some studious photos of Monroe reading a book, and a rebellious photo of Moroccan looking like a rockstar. There's also a cute one of the "Little Crab Cakes" dressed in crustacean themed clothes.

Randy Jackson to Manage Mariah Carey
Randy Jackson is adding an A-lister to his dawg pound. The "American Idol" judge is negotiating a deal to manage Mariah Carey's career, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. The duo know each other from their Columbia Records days when Jackson was vice president of A&R during the 1990s and Carey was signed to the label from 1988 to 2001.
Over the years, Jackson has produced, co-written and appeared on many Carey recordings. He's also played bass for the superstar both in the studio and on the road. Among his Carey credits: Jackson wrote and produced two songs for her 2001 film, "Glitter". On her 2002 Island Def Jam debut "Charmbracelet", Jackson is listed as composer, producer and percussionist while on her 2005 smash "Emancipation of Mimi", he returned to play bass and also appears in the video to Carey's cover of Def Leppard's "Bringin' on the Heartbreak". Throughout her career, he has served as Carey's musical director and most recently, he produced her 2010 Christmas album, "Merry Christmas II You".
Carey, who gave birth to twins in April, was previously signed to Chris Lighty's Violator Entertainment, which represents such artists as 50 Cent, LL Cool J and Soulja Boy. In September, the company merged with Primary Wave, management home to Cee-Lo Green and Eric Benet.
Jackson is no stranger to the management game, having worked with funk-flavored rocker Nikka Costa, soul singer Van Hunt and North Carolina-based band Paper Tongues, who are signed to Universal Music-owned A&M/Octone Records. He's one of several notable musicians who also guide the careers of others. Back in the 1990s, when he was known as Puff Daddy, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs managed rapper Notorious B.I.G. More recently, he guided "Making the Band" winners Danity Kane and was reportedly working with Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross. Jay-Z, by virtue of running management company RocNation, has a hand in the careers of Rihanna and Willow Smith. Usher, in partnership with Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun, can also lay claim to some of the pop phenom's success.
On November 2, Jackson was in full management mode as he accompanied Carey to film the music video for "All I Want For Christmas Is You", her duet with Bieber, which appears on his "Under the Mistletoe" album (out now). The nine-hour night shoot took place at Macy's Herald Square in New York City and, according to observers, Jackson stayed for the duration. A few days later, he was seen at Carey's label offices where he was taking meetings. Says a source: "He's very much in the mix."
