Mariah Carey celebrates "dreams" in "American Idol" ad

The "American Idol" judges are celebrating dreams in a just released ad for the show's anticipated 2013 season. In video released Friday, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson champion the dreams of contestants vying for a chance to appear on the hit show and possibly win a prize that will change their lives forever.
"To all the dreamers. To everyone who thought they'd never have the chance. It's almost that time of year America. The time to make dreams come true," "American Idol" judges say in the video. Ryan Seacrest also appears in the ad, giving viewers the signature words "This is American Idol."
As previously reported, the next season of "American Idol" is a fresh start with an almost completely new judging panel following the exits of both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. Both parted ways with the hit reality singing competition over the Summer. "American Idol" is due to premiere January 2013 on Fox.
